Shape of A Mother

There is a wonderful website called “Shape of A Mother” that I have admired for a long time. Mothers submit stories and photographs of the changes to their bodies (both good and bad) during pregnancy and postpartum. It is a very empowering and inspiring website. I finally had the courage to submit my story and photographs and they were published on the site today. Here is the link to my story – “Perfection” If you have body image issues I encourage you to look around the site – I should preface that there is some nudity on the site – but it is in good taste (most women submit photos of their bodies and they range from fully clothed to completely bare).
loved your post at shape of a mother. and those pictures–beautiful! i especially like the picture of you nursing. for some reason i cannot find any pictures of me nursing my children and it breaks my heart.

I never took any pictures of me nursing, expect one fuzzy one in the hospital. Not sure why, I guess I expected to eventually. This is a travesty! Thanks for sharing yours, simply beautiful.
